What is an FBO and the Advantage Lounge?
An FBO, or fixed-base operator, is the private terminal that handles your aircraft and looks after you on the ground, away from the main commercial building. The AXIS Advantage Lounge is our private lounge within the FBO, where you can relax, meet or work before you fly and step straight from the car to the aircraft.
Where are the AXIS FBOs based?
AXIS operates FBOs and the Advantage Lounge at Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg and at Cape Town International Airport. These are our two bases in South Africa.
What ground handling and lounge services do you offer?
Our FBO teams provide ground handling, fuelling, customs and immigration, apron parking and secure hangarage. The Advantage Lounge adds a private lounge, in-flight catering, on-board amenities and full concierge, from ground transport to crew support.
Who can use the AXIS FBO and Advantage Lounge?
The FBO and Advantage Lounge are for private and business aviation guests and crew arriving or departing through Lanseria or Cape Town, including AXIS charter and managed-aircraft clients. Contact us to arrange access for your flight.
How do I arrange handling for an arrival or departure?

Can you handle catering and ground transport as well?
Yes. Our concierge arranges in-flight catering, on-board amenities and ground transport, along with customs and immigration, so everything is ready before you arrive. Let us know your requirements when you enquire and we will take care of the details.
